Trace Streeter
Co-Founder
Trace Streeter grew up close to the land in Queensland and lived self-sufficiently on a small acreage in Palmwoods in his early tweens. His keen interest in agriculture, animal husbandry and gardening was the culmination of his upbringing in the countryside and his love for Earth Garden Magazine, Australia’s magazine on sustainable living and permaculture.
The move from Queensland to a new environment underpins a desire for lifelong learning and his continual growth as a farmer and a gardener. Trace has solely designed and fostered the Longhouse ecosystems, incorporating paddock-to-plate produce which include both meat and vegetables. You will find him milking goats and cows, feeding animals and breeding litters of pigs, goats and ducks to ensure a bountiful supply of meat and milk for the classes.
